Maverick City Music Release New Album “Holy”

Maverick City Music have released their new album “Holy”, a 12-track project that brings together different voices in worship, including Dante Bowe, Grace Idowu, Bear Bailey, Jordin Sparks, Chandler Moore, Hindrix Brown and others.

The album opens with the title track “Holy”, and from the first few seconds, Grace Idowu sets the tone with the words “Holy, Holy”. It is a simple opening, but it carries the heart of the whole project. The focus is worship, and everything points back to the holiness of God.

From there, the album moves into “I Was Made To Glorify Your Name”, a song that speaks about the reason man was created. We were made for worship. We were made to glorify God. The song carries that message in a very clear way, without trying to do too much.

Across the album, Maverick City Music continue with the sound many people already know them for. Their songs do not always feel like songs made only for listening. They often feel like moments people can join in with. That is one thing they have been able to build over the years, worship that can move from the recording into the room.

There is also that sense of togetherness in the project. Different voices come in, but the direction still feels the same. It is not about showing off voices, it is about creating space for worship.

“Holy” is centred on God, His presence, His holiness, and the response that comes from knowing who He is.

The album is now available on all major streaming platforms.
