Christian hip hop artist Matt Psalms, in association with Brigade Music Group, has released his debut solo album “Spiritual Warfare”. Originally from Nashville, TN. Matt Psalms along with the Brigade Music Group has begun making waves through the Tennessee Christian Hip Hop scene with their unique and fun take on the genre. Matt Psalms has taken the time to make this album a guaranteed must for any CHH playlist as he delivers the message of God’s glory, salvation, and shares his journey of recovery mentally, spiritually, and physically. Featured on the album are Tennessee Artists such as Chubby Boy Beats, TrennyRayy, Chaka, NoCeasin, Black Moses, Mr Wilson, and Memphis Hip Hop Legend La Chat.
Taking almost a full calendar year to release, producer and fellow Brigade Music Group member Chubby Boy Beats wanted to ensure that the tracks he was creating could hold the weight of the storytelling and messages Matt Psalms was preparing both in the studio and outside of it. The journey to Christ and the road to recovery are a path that they both share and hold close to their hearts. The work that they have produced both as a group and as individuals are a testament to that making this album an almost guaranteed success in the Indie Christian Hip Hop scene. Performing around the state, most recently at the Each 1 Reach 1 for Christ Festival in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Brigade is hungry to spread Christ’s message through their live performances as well.
