Kwakzino & Father Bennett release powerful new single ‘Just Like You’

Kwakzino and Father Bennett unveil Just Like You, a heartfelt track exploring the impact of fatherlessness. The song sheds light on the struggles of growing up without a dad, the challenges many face, and the hope found in an ever-present Father—God. With raw emotion and uplifting lyricism, Just Like You is a message of resilience, faith, and redemption.

Kwakzino bio:

Kwakzino has already been making impressive waves within the UK music scene. Floating between Grime, Rap and Drill genres, he continues to showcase his versatility as an artist through his music. Drawing inspiration from a melting pot of musical influences such as So Solid Crew, Kirk Franklin, DC Talk, Roadside G’s, D-Block and Vybz Kartel; the sound he has carved out for himself is both eclectic and fluid.

Kwakzino injects much of his personal journey and experiences into his art, often divulging on his relationship with Christ and his progression from the hood to where he is now. Born into a Christian household in Scotland to Scottish and Ghanaian parents, he then relocated multiple times to Ghana and then Canada, before finally settling in South Norwood, London where he was raised solely by his Mother alongside his younger brother and sister.

With features on ‘BBC Introducing’, radio play and support from multiple radio stations such as Fubar Radio, as well as freestyles for notable platforms such as Link Up TV and Bl@ackbox, Kwakzino has already racked up an impressive string of accolades. He has also performed to a sold-out crowd at O2 Islington alongside his younger brother Eerf Evil, supported by Octavian.

Kwakzino is currently working on new music, as well as pursuing his passion for artist development and offering support and mentorship to young people within his community.

Father Bennett trusts music can reach the fatherless as he already serves these young men and women on a daily basis and wants to do more for them.
