Recently Kanye West announced that he has changed the name of his upcoming album from Swish to Waves. Naturally when you are one of the most influential men on the planet (Times Magazine) and one of the best-selling artists of all time, this news becomes big news.

Kanye has won a total of 21 Grammy Awards, making him one of the most awarded artists of all time and the most Grammy-awarded artist of his age.

In a series of tweets, the artist not known for his humilty said about Waves, “This is not album of the year. This is album of the life.” He also proclaimed the expected 11 track album to be a Gospel album.
