Something special is coming to Bristol this August as UK-based Afro-fusion and contemporary saxophonist Josiah Adegboyega prepares to host the Saxospheric Worship Experience 2026.
Taking place on Sunday, 30th August 2026 at Dayspring Chapel International, the evening has been created for those who desire more than simply attending another concert. At its heart is an invitation to worship, surrender and encounter Yahweh, with Josiah bringing together a line-up of guest ministers for an evening of deep worship and unusual praise.
At the heart of Saxospheric Worship is a simple desire: to create an atmosphere where people can step away from the distractions of everyday life and focus completely on God.
Josiah’s distinctive approach to the saxophone combines soulful melodies, African musical influences and contemporary sounds. On this evening, however, the music has a greater purpose. It becomes an expression of worship.
It is not simply about watching musicians perform. It is about participating. Those attending are encouraged to come ready to sing, worship, surrender and pour out their hearts before God. Whether you have walked with God for many years, have a passion for worship or simply desire an evening in His presence, there is a place for you in the room.
Josiah will not be alone on the night. He will be joined by Pastors Femi and Tolu Aladesanmi, founders and coaches of Tandalove Ministries, who will be travelling from Canada for the gathering.
The wider line-up also includes Semiloore Osanyinbi, Desanya Maestro, Opeyemi, Aridunnu, Tolu David, Emmy Sax, Wolesax, Brenique and Odunayo Daramola, with Dara Omo-Woli as MC. Together, the ministers and musicians will help create an atmosphere centred not on personalities or performances, but on Yahweh.
For Josiah, the saxophone is more than an instrument of performance. Music is a language capable of expressing worship, communicating emotion, telling stories and creating moments that go beyond the music itself.
Drawing from his African heritage and experiences within contemporary British music and worship culture, Josiah has developed a sound that brings the two worlds together. His performances move naturally between intimate, reflective melodies and vibrant expressions of praise, combining cultural depth, creativity and technical precision.
Whether performing at concerts, worship gatherings, special events, collaborative shows or digital live streams, Josiah is intentional about the experience he creates on and off stage.
It is this desire to create something beyond entertainment that gave birth to the Saxospheric Worship Experience, a gathering where music meets worship and performance gives way to encounter.
Saxospheric brings together gifted ministers, musicians and worshippers with one central focus: Yahweh. Through the experience, Josiah invites those in the room to move beyond simply listening and become participants, to worship freely, surrender, reflect and pour out their hearts before God in an atmosphere of deep worship and unusual praise.
The Saxospheric Worship Experience 2026 takes place on Sunday, 30th August 2026 at Dayspring Chapel International, 72–82 Bedminster Parade, Bristol, BS3 4HL. The red carpet begins at 3:30pm, with the worship experience starting at 4:00pm.
