Funmi Onisile‘s new song release ‘I Wait On You‘ is an inspirational song that fully admonishes one to passionately  and patiently  wait on God  for a renewal of strength, especially in these trying times that everyone seems perplexed.

As we all know that we need the sufficient grace and power of the Holy Spirit to overcome the world, His anointing to break every yoke and His filling to the brim: “The Lord is good to those who passionately wait, to the one who diligently seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for help from God.” Lamentations 3:25-26

Funmi is a gospel music minister, ardent worshipper, songwriter, educationist, inspirational speaker and costume manager. She is a graduate of English Education from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, who started singing at age 6 in the Juvenile choir. She is knowledgeable both in Classical and Contemporary songs.

She inherited this great skill from her late mother who was a passionate alto singer. Growing up in Christ Apostolic Church, she has backed up in many interdenominational concerts and crusades with some top Gospel Artistes. Her journey over years in music ministry has seen her to the level of leading various Youth choirs in CAC and RCCG.

Along with her husband, she manages a Christian Facebook page tagged “Ask in Faith”. She is married and blessed with children. She is currently a member and a chorister in RCCG, City of David, Lagos, Nigeria.
