FAITHFUL releases a new song titled ‘Send Rescue’ from an upcoming album steeped in the Psalms. Inspired by Psalm 69’s overarching cry for help, writers Taylor Leonhardt, Baylor Wilson, and Ainsley Britain developed the theme into an encouragement for those on a journey with mental health particularly.
“Anxiety and depression can make you feel like your own worst enemy,” Leonhardt shares, “There’s no shame in being stuck in a moment we can’t get out of ourselves; this song is an encouragement to turn to the God.”
Inviting listeners to sit in that space with the psalmist, FAITHFUL created a song that gives language for times of real crisis. Led by Sarah Kroger and Taylor Leonhardt, ‘Send Rescue’ is a mellow song that reminds us of the presence of God in the midst of life’s storms.
