For those of you who have been following, you might remember that at the end of last year, we said that the worship artist, Emmanuel Smith was one to watch out for this year. And it seems as though we were right, or even somewhat prophetic if I might add.
On Saturday 12th January, Smith wowed all four judges and the public when he sung his rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ by Leonard Cohen during his blind audition on The Voice UK. Less than a minute into the song, the legendary Jennifer Hudson had already pressed her buzzer, guaranteeing him a place in the next round and his voice went from strength to strength from there.
He then had his pick of the judges and I won’t spoil this round by letting you know whose team he picks…
