Gospel music is set for a historic moment this autumn as Skylight, founded and hosted by powerhouse vocalist Emmanuel Smith, makes its debut at the OVO Arena Wembley on Sunday, 12 October 2025. The move to one of the UK’s most iconic venues marks a major step forward for both the event and the country’s Gospel music scene.

First launched at the Indigo at The O2, Skylight has grown from its intimate beginnings into a must-attend celebration, uniting audiences through diverse styles of Gospel music – from contemporary worship to urban Gospel and traditional spirituals. The Wembley edition, with capacity for over 12,000 people, is set to be the most ambitious yet, promising an “electric” night of music, collaboration, and powerful performances.

Emmanuel Smith, who rose to prominence as a semi-finalist on The Voice UK in 2019, has since established himself as an international Gospel ambassador. His vision for Skylight embraces “Gospel in all its forms and expressions,” making it a platform for both established and emerging artists, and opening the genre to wider audiences.

With surprise collaborations, world-class production, and a message of hope at its heart, Skylight’s Wembley debut is poised to further cement Gospel’s place in the UK’s mainstream music landscape.

Doors open at 5:00 PM. Attendees are advised to arrive early and note venue policies: no cloakroom service, no adult backpacks, and bags must be under 40 x 35 x 19 cm.
