With absolute pleasure and excitement we can confirm that Elle Limebear will be a special guest performer at Step FWD Awards 2022 on 26th November. Following on from last year, the evening will provide a truly star studded line-up, fitting for this ‘Dove meets Stellar’ style event celebrating the ‘Best of British’ Christian and Gospel talent of the past 12 months.
Singer-songwriter Elle Limebear has grown up in the limelight as the daughter of Delirious? front man Martin Smith, yet as worship leader and youth pastor she remains firmly rooted in daily serving her community in Brighton. An intense experience at a Christian festival five years ago during which she felt called to lead worship in larger settings, inspired her to write distinctive uplifting songs that touch the soul. She sees her music as part of an art movement to reach the hearts of diverse people, bringing joy and revelation to their lives by creating songs that are not limited to Christian audiences yet remain worship-inspired.
Elle sees the future of her music like a concert full of diverse people from the most eclectic of backgrounds drawn in by visuals, melodies, and art that they love. And from there, the effect of good music would become revelations of truth in their lives.
“My hope is for my friends that don’t know Jesus to still identify with these songs,” says Elle. “That they’re on their party playlists, spreading hope, drawing them into truth, and then seeing it spread out to their friends, colleges, clubs, through their cities and wider.”

Judges and the public will have the opportunity to personally influence the outcome of this amazing accolade by voting for their favourite No.1 track from the 1st of October.
