Philadelphia’s Da’ T.R.U.T.H. will join a number of top UK artists at the first ever PARADOX Live event in The Venue, Great Portland Street, London. Prior to that Truth who is a forerunning Christian rapper, having won numerous awards and critical praise will perform in Birmingham on the 16th June at Aston Students Union.
On Sunday the 18th June Truth will join the second service at City Gates Church in Ilford from 5pm for a Live Question and Answer session aimed at addressing some of the most controversial issues facing especially the current generation. This highly anticipated free event will be hosted by none other than Pastor Efrem, a very influential figure in the UK music scene.
One week later the June 25th show will feature top local names in a 16 Bar Challenge, a Cypher session and a number of single performances. Acts confirmed include Faith Child, Cerose, D Simple, Icie, J Vessel, Happi, A Star, Hope Dealers, Simply Marvinous, Triple O, InderPaul Sandhu, The Elect, Tneek, Feed’Em, Jo Joey, Melvillous + more!
Well-known DJ Selenki and DJ Kelechi will be spinning the tracks on a night that promises to be the biggest showcase of rap talent since the Uprise TV 5th Birthday Bash in 2014.
With these events aStepFWD through its upcoming Paradox project hopes to infuse fresh life into an already flourishing scene and spur consistent activity, building on the solid foundation of previous initiatives.
