If you were asked to describe Christian music in one word, what would it be?
Christian music has a false reputation of being solely for older folk, clapping out of sync and singing off key during a long church service. This reputation is far from correct. Genres such as Christian rock, hip-hop and jazz do exist and are rather easy to find if you are willing to look.
Christian artists such as the UK’s Faith Child and Chosen Wisdom not only make Christian music modern, but link their lyrics to topics that our generation can easily relate to such as crime, relationships, society and so forth. Go out and have a listen then let me ask you again.
