Music industry is hardly a stranger to collaborations, so the networking event for BPI Grow Music programme hosted at Meta offices yesterday was warmly welcomed by the AStepFWD team attending. A great opportunity to meet and share experiences with a host of music industry entrepreneurs each developing innovative services for artists, many featuring cutting edge technology in their niche. With increasing challenges faced by artists and labels to make music profitable, building meaningful connections with listeners through fresh ideas and teamwork are essential for the industry to thrive.
“At times attending BPI Grow Music has reminded me of my uni days which thankfully I enjoyed!
The programme has challenged us to think about AStepFWD in completely different terms than ever before,
as a kingdom business rather than purely a ministry. It has been a catalyst for a fresh look at
where AStepFWD is headed after its first decade; we are expecting to go from strength to strength serving
both artists and people who love uplifting faith-inspired music with more visibility than before.”
O’Neil Dennis, AStepFWD Founder

Designed by BPI, in partnership with Abbey Road Red, Anthony David King, Measure of Music, UK Black Tech and Angel Investing School’s Andy Ayim, the business support programme is designed to grow and test SMEs’ business and ideas, offering unparalleled access to the beating heart of the UK recorded and live music industry, and positioning London as a hub of music technology, innovation and growth.
