Anchor Hymns announces the dawn of a new project with their new single ‘Jesus Is’. Written by folk songwriter Taylor Leonhardt and performed by Chaunda Jefferson and Travis Ryan, the new song is a soulful anthem of hope. Recorded live in the mundane-meets-divine settings of a Nashville brewery, Black Abbey, ‘Jesus Is’ honestly tells of the lows of the human condition and contrasts them with the wholeness found in Jesus. The new song is driven by a bluesy guitar, relaxed drums, and the underlying presence of an organ which gives it its groove.
