Roger Moore from Affinity Xtra caught up with A Step FWD founder O’Neil Dennis to chat about the upcoming Step FWD Awards which is being billed as a ‘Dove meets Stellar’ and ‘Best of British’ definitive awards ceremony for the British Christian music industry. Dennis spoke about his heart for bridging the divide between generations and race groups and the desire for all to support one another. He discussed the motivation behind the awards ceremony which is to honour the people who have been there, put the work in and made an impact in the Christian music industry over the years.

The ceremony will honour historical achievements but will also celebrate the top songs in the UK Christian Charts from this year; there are 131 songs that have been nominated that are currently being shared via the Step FWD social channels for the public to vote on.

The Step FWD Awards will be held on Saturday 27th November at St Paul’s, Hammersmith and voting is now open to choose your Song of the Year.
