Quiz Tha Great sees continued growth with latest “Goodness and Mercy EP”

Weeks after its official launch, the groundswell of support for Quiz Tha Great’s latest project, the “Goodness and Mercy EP“, proves the release is only gaining momentum. Rather than fading after the initial buzz, the Psalm 23-inspired project is experiencing a steady rotation across the full remix versions, establishing itself as a lasting anthem across the Christian & Gospel music landscape.

The Sapele Delta State-born, Lagos-based artist – born Shedrach Tejiri Edirin – designed the project as a deliberate sonic companion for the daily spiritual walk. Quiz Tha Great emphasises that the project’s striking shepherd artwork reflects the humble responsibility of a worship leader rather than the Saviour.

“Christ alone is the Good Shepherd,” Quiz explains. “The imagery reflects the calling of a psalmist: an undershepherd entrusted with guiding hearts toward God’s presence. This EP is a sonic journey for those walking through valleys and resting in green pastures, learning to trust that goodness and mercy follow them daily.”

This deep intentionality defines the artist’s cross-genre journey. Since transitioning into faith-based music in 2017 following a life-changing trip to South Africa, Quiz has built a reputation for versatility. His rich musical catalog blends raw hip-hop lyricism, his late father’s country music influences, and vibrant African rhythms, leading to major collaborations with industry heavyweights like A Mose, NaffyMar, Marizu, Vic Lucas, Emandiong and Kim Hairston. With peer support and fan testimonies continuing to mount, the “Goodness and Mercy EP” is hitting its stride as essential music for the flock.

The “Goodness and Mercy EP” is available now on all major digital streaming platforms.
