Philippa Hanna releases new single ‘Even Now’

Resound Media recently announced the launch of Even Now, the brand new single from Philippa Hanna. Recorded in Nashville Tennessee, Even Now gives fans a taste of what to expect from her forthcoming album set for release in 2016.

Since opening several major tours in the UK for acts including Lionel Richie, Hanna has had her sights set on breaking the US market and has since received over £30,000 support from fans on crowdfunding site Rocket Fuel and last year secured a grant from UK Trade & Investment/BPI to support her US development.

Philippa made history recently by becoming the 2nd female artist ever to have a #1 track in the August Step FWD UK Christian Chart with tribute song ‘Million Flowers’. Her first entry ‘New for Old’ from her album ‘Through The Woods’ held the #4 spot back in March 2014. With previous critical acclaim and a strong fanbase behind her, Philippa Hanna’s Even Now looks set to make an impact when it hits the chart this November.

Philippa had this to say about the track, Even Now was written from a place of brokenness. This year has been a testing one for me, and for many of the people I love. I realised, we each have moments when it seems our world is falling apart, sometimes without warning. It’s easy to get caught up in the ‘why’. For those of us who believe in God it’s easy to wonder where He is in those moments. It’s easy to feel deafened by the silence.”

She added, “The one thing I know is that my faith gives me peace in the most awful of circumstances. And something in my Spirit changes when I choose to have faith and to believe in God’s goodness through those times.”

Even Now is available for pre-order on iTunes where it has reached the #1 spot on the Christian/Gospel charts. The song will be released on Friday 20th November.
