The OTC‘s latest Single ‘DOWN’ is perhaps sonically their largest yet. The track is a promised dance banger, drawing influence from Rudimental, Disclosure and Kaytranada. However, in true OTC style, the bars don’t shy away from the message of the Band’s music, as the band share how their faith in Jesus has been a lifeline.
James fled to Gambia alone from his home country Sierra Leone, aged 10, as a refugee. He then moved to the UK and lived a life of Gang-related crime before finding Jesus. Aidan’s life was drug addiction and gang affiliation in North London, before finding faith. And Gina battled years of poor mental health due to self-image issues before trusting in God. The tagline of the track is ‘I’ve been changed by Jesus’, and this is the message OTC are most passionate about sharing.
