Danu was born in Sri Lanka and became a Christian in 1998. His musical journey began with a Gospel Rock band called “Seed.” He wrote his own compositions and performed in local churches as well as outdoor concerts with international Christian bands. In 2007, Danu moved to the UK, where he studied Graphic Design and continued pursuing his passion for music in various local churches. From 2018 to 2023, Danu joined the Hillsong worship team at the Birmingham campus, where he gained more knowledge about worship and songwriting. This culminated in his new release, “Miracles,” in 2024. Danu is now involved with Freedom Church Cheltenham
