Worshippers from across the UK will gather in London on 10 October as SYNERGY returns for its eighth edition.
Hosted annually by Simplicity Records, SYNERGY is an interdenominational worship gathering that brings believers from different churches and backgrounds together for one purpose: to lift up the name of Jesus with one voice and one heart.
This year’s gathering will take place at The Brook, Abbey Road, Stratford, London, from 5pm, with another night of worship and live recording planned.
Over the years, SYNERGY has become more than just a worship night. Songs have been written, recorded and captured from these gatherings, with more than 80 songs and 80 music videos produced so far.
And some of those songs have gone on to receive recognition within UK Christian and Gospel music.
That was evident at the 2025 StepFWD Awards, where Evans Ogboi had three songs nominated for Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year, with some of the nominated songs coming out of the SYNERGY gathering. ‘Magnify the Lord’ by Evans Ogboi featuring Berachah of GRA eventually won the category.
It shows how the music coming from these gatherings has continued to travel beyond the room, reaching listeners long after each edition of SYNERGY has ended.
For SYNERGY 8, a strong line-up has been confirmed, including Evans Ogboi, Purist Ogboi, Oluwaseun Adewole, Efel, Ibiateli Asobie, Jemi Nwadike, Tosin Obadara, Ayodele Dada, Laura Abios, Belisa John, Uchefield Okezie, Dunamis Olufunke and MOBU.
Speaking about the gathering, Evans Ogboi shared: “Every year, saints from across the UK gather with one heart and one voice to lift up the name of Jesus.”
This year will once again see songs captured for release beyond the gathering, continuing what has become an important part of the SYNERGY journey.
At the heart of it all, however, the purpose remains simple. It is about believers coming together to worship Jesus, irrespective of denomination, in an atmosphere where worship, unity and excellence come together to honour God.
SYNERGY 8 takes place on 10 October 2026 at 5pm at The Brook, Abbey Road, Stratford, London, E15 2QT.
