LIMOBLAZE AND RUA YOUNG BRING TWO CULTURES TOGETHER ON ‘SUPER POWER II’

Limoblaze has teamed up with Korean-American Christian hip-hop artist RUA YOUNG for ‘Super Power II’, a new version of ‘Super Power’ from his Solid Ground EP.

RUA YOUNG is a rising voice in Christian hip-hop, bringing his Korean-American background and faith into his music, and this collaboration sees both artists meeting from two different cultures on the same song.

Sharing how it came together on Instagram, Limoblaze said RUA YOUNG reached out after listening to the EP and told him that ‘Super Power’ was his favourite song on the project.

From there, the idea of doing something together started to take shape. Instead of simply adding a feature to the original, they went for new verses and a fresh version of the song, while keeping the message and feel that made the first one stand out.

The result is ‘Super Power II’, with Limoblaze’s Nigerian roots and RUA YOUNG’s Korean-American background coming together naturally on the record.

The remix arrives as part of the two-track Super Power II Pack, which also includes ‘Cole Palmer’ featuring Andy Mineo and DC3.

‘Cole Palmer’ has become one of the biggest songs from the EP, peaking at No.3 on the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart following its release. Including it in the new pack gives listeners the new ‘Super Power II’ remix alongside a song that has already become one of the strongest from the project.

The timing is also strategic, with Limoblaze gearing up for Young & Chosen: Solid Ground Edition this Saturday. Releasing the pack just days before the concert gives the new version a fresh push heading into the weekend.

‘Super Power II Pack’ is out now.
