Worship leader, songwriter and recording artist John Wilds has teamed up with Bethel Music for a new live rendition of the popular worship song ‘No One Like The Lord’.
Wilds, who joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2021, brings a fresh feel to the song while still keeping the original message at the centre.
Written by Jonathan Stamper, Eniola Abioye, Aliyah Stamper, Nathan Carter, Lindy Cofer and Jenn Johnson, ‘No One Like The Lord’ is a declaration of the worthiness of Jesus, with the lyrics painting the picture of Him seated on the throne and receiving all praise, honour and glory.
Towards the end of the performance comes one of the strongest moments. The song opens into a call and response around the repeated line, ‘There is no one like You’, with John Wilds adding his own calls as the worship builds.
The moment continues before returning to the heart of the song with the declaration, ‘We crown You King of Glory’.
