Rob Halligan has been compared to Martyn Joseph, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Diamond to name but a few. A professional musician for over 20 years, he is an award-winning singer/songwriter and has toured across the world, gaining a reputation as a passionate and engaging performer. He has worked with an array of artists, performed live sessions on BBC Radio 2 and had numerous television and radio appearances. He has performed at some of the UK’s most iconic venues and festivals and is as at home on stage at major theatres or a festival main stage as he is at a local church cafe or folk club. His tour has taken him across the UK as well as shows in Canada, USA, Brazil, Hong Kong and Europe.
Having lost his father in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, and spent time living on the streets, his songs champion reconciliation and social justice. Rob supports Christian children’s charity, “Global Care”, and has visited Ethiopia, Bangladesh and Lebanon raising awareness and money for some of the world’s most disadvantaged children.
