GX Award Winner Min. Adeoluwa Releases Scripture-Filled Debut “THE WORD” EP

Fresh off his win as Best Praise & Worship Leader at the 2025 GX Awards, rising gospel minister Min. Adeoluwa has released his debut body of work, THE WORD EP, now available on all streaming platforms. Released on October 9th — a date that also marks Adeoluwa’s birthday — the project stands as both a gift of sound to the Body of Christ and a milestone in the artist’s own journey.

The five-track project is a bold declaration of Scripture in sound, with 99% of the lyrics drawn directly from the Bible. Adeoluwa describes the EP not just as music, but as “The Word, sung and declared.” Sharing the inspiration behind the project, he explained: “Growing up, we were made to recite Bible verses and chapters, and this helped us grow. However, in this age, media has become a huge distraction. So, what if we put those words, word for word, into song and have people listen to it, become curious about it, and search it out? That’s how this Scripture-singing journey was born.”

For Adeoluwa, sound is more than melody — it is a spiritual tool. “Sound is one of the greatest tools the enemy uses to distract today’s youth. With THE WORD EP, I am reclaiming that same tool to redirect hearts and minds back to God’s truth.” Each track carries a unique expression of Scripture, crafted with excellence and authenticity, with production support from acclaimed gospel producers Paul Ojo Ade (Colonel-Tyemmy) and Ajibade Isaiah (Ikeyz), alongside sessions recorded at Ray Studio UK.

While THE WORD EP marks his debut project, Adeoluwa has also announced that the full album will be released on October 9th, 2026 — once again aligning with his birthday. The album promises to expand the Scripture-singing journey with even more Bible verses set to music, offering a larger body of work that continues his unique ministry of turning the Word into song.

With THE WORD EP, Adeoluwa isn’t simply adding another release to the growing gospel catalogue. He is championing what he calls Scripture in Sound — a ministry of converting the Word of God directly into song. “My prayer is that as people listen, they don’t just hear songs — they encounter Scripture, they encounter truth, and they encounter Christ,” he shared.

THE WORD EP by Min. Adeoluwa is out now on all major streaming platforms.
