Big Church Festival 2025 set to welcome 35,000 as tickets sell out

Big Church Festival, the UK’s largest Christian festival, has officially sold out with 35,000 people set to gather at Wiston Estate in West Sussex from August 22–24, 2025. Tickets were gone a full week before the event, confirming the festival’s status as one of the most in-demand dates in the UK’s summer calendar.

Known as a technicolour celebration of faith, worship and joy, Big Church Festival has become the premier meeting place for Christians across the UK and beyond. Each year thousands travel to the Sussex countryside to experience a weekend of music, worship, conversation and community, in a setting that transforms fields into a vibrant hub of creativity and faith.

Highlights for 2025 include the return of the acclaimed Podcast Stage, hosted by Justin Brierley and The Way UK in partnership with yesHEis. Featuring challenging and faith-filled discussions, the stage has become a stand-out part of the festival experience, drawing audiences keen to engage with deeper questions of life and faith.

Beyond the main stages, Big Church Festival thrives on its strong volunteer culture, with hundreds serving across everything from ticketing to crafts, hospitality to accessibility. For organisers and attendees alike, this spirit of participation is at the heart of the event, creating a community atmosphere that goes far beyond a typical festival.

Big Church Festival 2025 also lands during a landmark year for UK Christian music and culture, joining Emmanuel Smith’s Skylight at Wembley, Noel Robinson’s Change The Atmosphere tour, the Premier Gospel Awards at The O2 and the fifth annual StepFWD Awards in November, in shaping a new wave of major national celebrations.

With demand higher than ever and tickets completely sold out, the festival continues to stand as a defining moment of unity, creativity and worship for the UK Christian community.
