salvation. Adetutu VOJ is an ambassador of this, with a view to proclaim the good news of God via
great and trendy music.

Born and raised in a Muslim home in Lagos Nigeria, she started singing at a young age, which
endeared her to people. Over time as a Christian, she developed a passion for praise and worship
and ultimately song writing. Based in the UK, her first single ‘God showed up’ was released in
2017 and there’s been no going back ever since. She is also a mental health advocate and an
encourager in the word of God via social media.

Only You is a seamless fusion of gospel and afrobeats – this song is a refreshing sound that
speaks of total dependence on God, blending spiritual depth with the vibrant rhythms of Africa. I
was inspired by a friend’s post in 2019, where he berated Christian youths being addicted to
worldly music, and at the same time, challenged Christian song writers to consider the young
generation when writing songs. I saw this as an opportunity to blend afrobeats and a message
