One of the hallmark events organized by Liverpool Lighthouse is the Liverpool Gospel Music Festival (LGMF). After a postponement in 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances, the festival is set to return on May 4th, 2025. For this year only, the event will be hosted indoors at the historic Liverpool Olympia, offering attendees an intimate experience of inspirational and uplifting gospel music from 3 pm to 11 pm.

The 2025 lineup boasts an impressive array of talent, including the renowned London Community Gospel Choir and the soulful Michelle John. Joining them are Volney Morgan & New Ye, Triple O, and the Love and Joy Gospel Choir. Further acts, including a brand new headliner, are yet to be announced, promising an unforgettable musical experience for attendees.

Beyond the festival, Liverpool Lighthouse continues its mission to harness the power of music for well-being. The organization runs various programs, including the Lighthouse Choir, formed during the lockdown with a mission to sing and record songs of hope, comfort, and healing. Additionally, as part of their commitment to supporting artists from underrepresented backgrounds, they are developing a National Gospel Music Centre, partnering with others around the country to raise the profile of gospel music.
