‘Journey Home’ is Emma Mould‘s captivating guitar-driven folk production with soulful gospel rock and alternative pop influences. About her new single, Emma says, “I wrote this song in a season of uncertainty and pain, I began to focus on the promises in life, rather than the uncertainties and fear, and I was inspired to write this song. I worked with a number of great musicians on this song allowing me to pull on different influences and genres. I’m really hoping that ‘Journey Home’ connects with the listener on a deep level and helps them to journey in faith and discover the love that is all around them.”
Emma’s songwriting is poetic and solid with strong messaging, soothing melodies and stirring harmonies. Produced by Manchester-based Dan Stirling, the single has a sense of urgency and passion which has cleverly been combined with Emma’s inescapable tenderness.
