The award-winning, Sister Act 2 inspired, University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY) annual competition is back this summer!
Boasting the top vocalists and brilliantly talented young people UK universities have to offer, expect a night of great entertainment, great music and family fun which is guaranteed to leave you uplifted and inspired!
Hosted by MOBO Gospel Award Winner Rachel Kerr, UGCY 2013 will take place 6th July 2013 at 7pm, at the historic Hippodrome in the heart of North West London – Golders Green. The top 8 university Gospel choirs will battle it out to take home the prestigious UGCY 2013 title. This years line up is as follows:

Queen Mary University (QMUL Unite Choir)
Imperial College (ICGC)
Royal Holloway University (Royal Holloway Gospel Choir)
University of the West of England (UWE Gospel Choir)
Canterbury Christchurch University (Christchurch Gospel Choir)
University of Leicester (Leicester University Voices)
And back to defend their title, the 2012 champions, University of Manchester (Harmony Gospel Choir)
With support from the Mayor of London, MPs and influential individuals from across the spectrum, UGCY is proud to be able to provide this unprecedented platform for young people to really shine and showcase their musical talents.
Now celebrating it’s third anniversary, the competition will once again showcase the best and brightest of the UK’s university gospel scene and is shaping up to be the best show yet!
