We are getting ready to celebrate John Fisher’s 50th birthday as he plans a series of events in the month of April. John is big on Gospel music, and been an endorsee, performer, producer and promoter of Gospel music for the past 37 years, so it would only be natural for him to celebrate his birthday in this way.
Friday 15th
The Choirfest Tour starts at New Life Christian Centre, Croydon, with a massive night of music with a cluster of Croydon churches coming together to celebrate and perform with their worship teams leading the first half of the evening. John Fisher & IDMC will be headlining with guest Gospel Choir, The Gospel Company coming in from Norway.
Saturday 16th
Will see the tour head to Birmingham at the NTCG Handsworth with IDMC & The Gospel Company sharing the stage with some of the finest singers in the West Midlands namely BBC Gospel Choir of the Year winners Town Hall Gospel Choir and Birmingham Community Gospel Choir, along with legendary choir director Audrey Mattis and the Hawkins Tribute Choir and also Patrick George and the UP Mass Choir.
Sunday 17th
It all hits the roof with a Stella line up of artists joining John at his home church NTCG Brixton. This will be a night of Gospel Gold with IDMC & Gospel Company being joined once again with Patrick George & the Up Mass Choir, but with some of London’s finest including Bazil Meade and LCGC 90’s Reunion Choir, Noel Robinson & Nu Image, Clif & Marie, Volney Morgan & New Ye, and much, much more.
Wednesday 20th
John will celebrate his actual 50th birthday by releasing IDMC’s 16th Project “Live & Phaat’ Vol 3 at the Jazz Café!!!
