With perhaps one of the most talked about upcoming projects for a little while the uber-talented Triple O has been ultra creative and expressive with his Telescopes & White Roses album launch set for this Friday, 18th October.
FACTS AND FIGURES direct from Triple O:
“The project boasts of 10 different singers, 7 producers, 8 rappers and took a total of 6months to make.
#TAWR was initially due to be released back on February 14th (just like its predecessors) but had a massive change in direction, so I started it again….
It was initially going to be called ‘A New Perspective’….
Only 2 songs on the project are not original pieces of production. “F.E.A.R” which features @IcieMusic and an interlude called “Stone” which is on top of a J Dilla instrumental…
The song ‘Heartstrings’ was initially supposed to go on to the project ‘Supersonicsonneteer’ which came out back in November 2012 – and was originally supposed to be a freestyle on top of ‘Lecrae’s – Praying For You’ – hence the direction of the song….
@HayleyCassidy wrote and recorded the hook for “Never Let Me Down” in less than an hour….
My favourite song on the project is a song called “Daydream” which features @DionneReid. Love love love that song!…
On the 4th of October I tweeted “The Moral”. Well that day I had just received a beat, and written to it as I couldn’t resist not putting it on the project. So yes, you could call that a late addition. lool….
I have a song on the project with my group “Earmark” – it’s the FIRST ever song anyone will hear with all four of us on it. *jumps for excitement*
This will be my last FREE project as a solo artist. 🙁 … BUT, I start working on the album next year autumn for a Summer 2015 release. Yaay!! 😀 ….”
