Together Croydon Churches unite for 2nd Prayer Walk – Sunday 29th April

The first Prayer Walk took place last week in Tottenham and today Sunday 29th April the second walk will be in Croydon as a joint effort between Peace Alliance and Together Croydon Churches (TCC). The Prayer Walk starts at Whitgift Shopping Centre (in front of Marks & Spencer and ends close to East Croydon station).

The Prayer Walk series is a call to prayer and action following the spate of violence and killings across the UK’s capital. Church leaders are calling on all Christians to dedicate the coming weeks to a period of concerted prayer for peace on our streets and an end to violence and violent deaths.

This call is for the church to come together in unity and conduct prayer walks over four Sunday afternoons in multiple locations in the most susceptible communities that represent the north, east, south and west of the City. The mission is to prayerfully take back our streets and our youth.

So all churches in and around the Croydon area are asked to come out  as we beseech God in prayer for our communities. Prayer walk commences at 4pm prompt and ends at 5pm.  Attendees are asked to arrive by 3:30pm
