The “Nara” singer Tim Godfrey is back with a brand new single titled ‘God Turned It Around’ which is available now. The single which features Nathaniel Bassey and Tim Bowman Jr., is an uplifting contemporary gospel track with a melodious sound and powerful lyrics which speaks about the promises of God towards all.
The song is a prophetic declaration and affirmation of the scripture; Genesis 50:20A “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…” Tim tells us, “It affirms the many ways God turns the intention of the enemy that could have caused unrecoverable damage around for good.‘’
Recorded live at his annual Fearless Concert in Lagos, Nigeria, this single is a perfect combination of beautiful guitar lines, drums, trumpet, bass and sweet piano melodies accompanied with soul lifting and well blended vocals.
On working with Nathaniel Bassey, Tim says, “It’s a blessing to have him on the song. I remember during the recording… he kept praying and whispered to me saying “I will sing this song to the whole world”, thats how much this song blessed him. The connection and anointing in the room was soo powerful.“
Grammy, Dove, and Stellar Award nominated artist Tim Bowman Jr. also blesses this track with
his incredible vocals. “You’ll hear him sing… such a powerful voice that tears down the kingdom of hell. I don’t know how God gave him alone that voice. I’m so grateful that he was able to do this song
with us and share this blessing with the world”, says Tim.
Tim Godfrey also joins Sinach amongst 11 phenomenal Gospel artists featured on the Gospel Heritage project, offering another track ‘Evidence’ out 2nd September. ‘Evidence’ is a prophetic sound that stirs up the faith of people to receive all of God’s promises. It is a mid-tempo song that can serve both as a testimony for what God has already done and as a prophetic declaration to receive what God has promised to do. “The song came from a place of faith and thanksgiving.” concluded Tim Godfrey.
