Bringing some reggae sounds to the December 2016 UK Christian Chart listing is emerging British singer Theon with his #5 track ‘Walking in Glory’. Theon spent his teenage years in the UK city of Nottingham, later venturing to London to pursue a career in film. His skill-set now reads: Artist, Songwriter, Composer, Record Producer and Film Director.
Theon has quickly become known for his versatility even within the urban contemporary gospel genre and his message. At the heart of his artistic evolution is the need to tell his story to bring Christ to the heart of mankind.
In 2015 he launched into new territory and started his own record label VineKing Studios and later in 2016 he released the single ‘I Am’ which secured the #4 spot in August 2015 UK Christian Chart. ‘I Am’ was off his debut EP “The Reason Why” also released in 2016.
‘Walking in Glory’ follows on from that body of work and is a smooth collage of sweet vocals that seamlessly intertwine and harmonise to produce a laid back Christian Lovers Rock vibe, with just a touch of synth bass to give it a fresh modern undertone.
