At this unique and challenging time in the United Kingdom over 65 churches and movements, representing hundreds of others, have come together online to sing a blessing over our land. Standing together as one, our desire is that this song will fill you with hope and encourage you. But the church is not simply singing a blessing, each day we’re looking to practically be a blessing.

That is the story and indeed the reality of Tim Hughes’ UK initiative using the original ‘The Blessing’ song by Cody Carnes, Kari Jobe and Elevation Worship. The result was this amazing audio recording produced by Trevor Michael with visuals edited by Level Creative.

It reminded us that, “Many of the churches included in this song have assisted with supplying over 400,000 meals to the most vulnerable and isolated in our nation since COVID-19 lockdown began. This alongside phone calls to the isolated, pharmacy delivery drops and hot meals to the NHS frontline hospital staff.”

In our 6 year history of curating the UK Christian Chart and even in searching the records, no other single has in the space of one week seen the significant viewing and sharing that ‘The UK Blessing‘ has had, with hundreds of shares well over 2.1 million Youtube streams and counting.

Apart from the blessing to the hearers and viewers, it is also a massive indication of the power of fellowship and how much can be achieved when we come together and work together.
