Billboard Music, Grammy, Stellar and Dove Award-winning musician and songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard released her new album “HYMNS” which is out now on all digital platforms. This, her latest project was recorded live at the The Greenwood Oasis on the campus of New Life Southeast in Chicago.
The stunning new album is a larger-than-life reimagining of classic hymns that have been sung for centuries & blessed the body of Christ. “HYMNS” features a plethora of musical acts such as Kierra Sheard, Ricky Dillard, Mary Mary, The Walls Group, Jennifer Hudson & many more. The arrangements are astonishing, awe-inspiring with strong elements of gospel, worship, and with additional hints of RnB, pop & country ensuring that the “HYMNS” album is a winner and a blessing to everyone who hears it.
When asked about the new album, Tasha says, “I want there to be an overwhelming sense of God’s love and kindness and grace towards us in these songs. I want to remind people that even when we feel undeserving, He sees us and we’re the apple of His eye. Through the highs and the lows, we have a consistent friend and father in God.”
