Jasmin’s brilliant new song ‘Its Time’ considers the immediate age we live in, and how God’s love and grace urgently calls us to walk as Jesus walked. ‘It’s Time’ for the Church to rise, in time of war, pestilence, famine, insecurities. “Now it’s the time for [your] bride to be spotless and bright”, declares Jasmin during the song’s triumphant middle section. It’s time, for Christ to become famous as the Saviour of the world. The brand new single is taken from her upcoming album, New Beginnings.
For Jasmin, music is an instrument to release the sounds of heaven, to release kingdom realities on earth, rather than merely writing ‘good’ songs. The integral purpose of her songwriting is to release freedom and prophetic words on earth; words and sounds that lift others into the reality of the Kingdom realm; music that enables someone to see Jesus.
