According to davisKING, Tinkololo is a neology that suggests ‘butterflies in the tummy’. “Although it is not necessarily linked to any particular language, it can easily be understood by anyone who speaks pidgin English from Nigeria as ‘happy heart’. This song talks about how God’s love tickles our hearts and excites us.” he added.
