Men and women there is someone out there for you. How lovely it must be lovely when you find that person whom God has prepared for you? Sometimes we all get a bit eager though even our parents. I remember twice my dad randomly popped the question ‘do you have a girlfriend?’…it’s apparently weird to see an 18yr old without a girlfriend!
Love between a man and a woman is something beautiful as it forms a relationship bond that moves to dating and then marriage, hopefully happily ever after and so forth. IMO as Christians we should seek to date or marry another who is like minded in Christ, but we all know that sometimes life throws curve balls our way. So how do you think this would impact your faith? Should we rely on ourselves or God to give us ‘the one’?
In any case to the rest of you the Lord says ‘If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy’. (I Corinthians 7:12-14 NKJV)
