It’s no secret that female artists simply don’t get as much time in the limelight as they should, in comparison to their male counterparts. It’s even harder to find recognised female artists within the much smaller Christian music genre.
The SheHH Podcast is a collection of interviews with women in the front and behind the scenes of Christian Music globally. SheHH aims to promote women in music ministry, encourage upcoming artists and foster community among Christian women over a love of music.
SheHH was created by lifestyle and faith content creator and host Paula Melissa in 2019. The podcast and online community has now grown and is managed by an international all-female team of six women: Paula, Hannah, Ikeoluwa, Sharnelle, Zoe and Pamela.
In this dynamic new series of conversations with SheHH sisters, Hannah and Paula interview 17 women in music ministry, ranging from singers and rappers to producers and artist managers. Episodes are released fortnightly on YouTube and podcast platforms. All episodes of the podcasts are available via video and audio and a lot of this series feature in-person interviews by London-based Paula and Texas-based Hannah.
Through each episode, you’re given a unique insight into the lives of our guests, from their day-to-day to their live performances. At the centre of these discussions features the importance of their Christian faith, not only in sustaining their journeys as artists but also as the crucial source of the message that they wish to share with the rest of the world.
SheHH is building a network of music lovers who want to be in the know with the best of new Christian music, whilst also recognising and supporting amazing upcoming talent too.
