ARTISTS INFO
The Outlanders
The Outlanders are a 5-piece jazz/funk/soul/instrumental band, based in London. Their music could be best described as groovy and expressive and is sure to get your booty moving. Beyond that they are a group of young aspiring musicians carving their way through their careers both as individuals and as a group. They released their debut album Then.Now.Later? in March 2013 and have since toured the UK with their music. Full of life and energy, audiences have applauded them for their fresh organic sound that’s brought about by their unique chemistry as a result of a close-knit friendship.

Kristyna Myles
“Kristyna Myles isn’t interested in being seen as the next ‘cool’ thing, instead, she’s intent on producing soulful, thoughtful and powerful music that simply satisfies” Chris Long, BBC

Kristyna got her first break back in 2005 busking on the streets of Manchester, winning ‘BBC Radio Five Live Busk Idol’ along with her guitarist Ben Williams. The Manchester based songstress has since then been on tour of Europe, performed her songs on BBC 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4 and her self-penned song My Lord was featured on a Universal Records compilation CD Songbird 2008 with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Eva Cassidy and Erykah Badu.

The Manchester songstress released her debut single I’m Not Going Back in 2012 on Decca Records receiving critical acclaim in Music Week with featured articles in The Daily Mail and The Sun. Kristyna awaits the release of her debut album produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Ken Nelson (Coldplay, Paolo Nutini, Gomez) in 2013. Songs on the album span a 10 year period from one of her earliest written songs Betrayal at age 16 to Make It Right some 10 years later. Pinch Me Quick Kristyna’s debut album will be out later this year.

Alice Watts
Alice Watts has a “voice that could stop wars” one listener claimed. As far as we know it’s unproven, but there’s no doubt this girl’s got soul. Following a year of showcasing her debut album on the London circuit, Alice is back on the scene hitting live music venues across London and the South of England with some newly crafted material. Her captivating vocals are bound to leave you intrigued.

With a stage presence that can charm the birds from the trees, and coax groupies from dark corners. Her first five track recording entitled ‘Circle Me Sea’ rapidly sold out within months. With some critics comparing her vocal style from Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy to Joni Mitchell this song dreamer will leave you with a lasting impression.

The previous Unsigned Live session hosted by Karl Nova, had some very talented performers and a spectacular atmosphere. I can’t wait for this one to come around. October 27th in Balham. See you there!
