Following the announcement that the #PIAChallenge will be returning for 2019, we can confirm that voting for Stage 1 is now LIVE. The #PIA2019Challenge seeks to find the best spoken-word artist or poet in the UK and the surrounding regions this year.
The winner is set to perform at the PIA World Tour London stop on May 4th 2019. The competition’s initial stage has given UK poets the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings in a 3 – 5 minute original piece on any subject matter. “Last year the poets were phenomenal this year we do not expect anything different…” says PIA poet Ezekiel.
Voting for Stage 1 is open now and closes on Thursday 11th April 2019 and is limited to one vote per person, per day. Vote for your favourite spoken word piece NOW! The video submissions are now available to view here.
All poets who have submitted for this stage are asked to have their submissions for stage two (of which 15 entrants from stage 1 will be selected) sent to media@astepfwd.com no later than Saturday 13th April 2019.
