This latest Noel Robinson nugget was recorded live in London at House on The Rock, Tufnell Park. His contract signature ink is barely dry, but the collaboration with Integrity Music is already paying dividends. A 14-track album fuses elements of Praise and Worship, RnB, Soul, Calypso and jazz in a way that could only be achieved with Robinson, Les Moir and Gozium Okagwu in the driving seat.
Standout tracks are Awesome Power with a guitar wailing intro that would put Noel Robinson’s technique amongst the blues greats. Outrageous Love is riddled with powerful lyrics such as Love, A Mighty Ocean Flowing over me. Let The people say is Calypso driven and You have my Heart features Yolanda Antono.
In the credits, Robinson says a big thanks to amongst others Israel Houghton, Matt Redman, Graham Kendrick and Bazil Meade. The crowd who attended this great live event are also crucial to the mix….and the acknowledgement.
