Lily-Jo releases original version & music video for ‘Bring Me Back’

Following up the #2 UK Christian Chart remix by Geek Boy, Lily-Jo releases the original version and her latest single ‘Bring Me Back’ from her EP Need to Know on Light Music. The release is accompanied by Lily-Jo’s first music video and tells the story of two individuals who have been through abusive times and are seeking healing and restoration.

With clean vocals and addictive drum beats, this song will get you through the day. Even though the song has ghostly piano sounds, it also has comfortable rhythms to make for an even more enjoyable experience.

Lily-Jo is a qualified counsellor and her time in the counselling room has inspired her song writing. Lily-Jo says “After shows people were coming up to me sharing their stories of self-harm, depression, childhood abuse etc, desperately wanted to give them something they could go away with. That’s where the idea for The Lily-Jo project came from. It’s an online resource with information on Low mood, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, childhood trauma, grief and loss, and low self-esteem. There’s also top tips on how to combat each issue, as well as, video logs, exercises, recommended resources, links to further national (UK) help, and more.”

Since the websites launch at the end of February 2016, The Lily-Jo Project has had over 2500 hits from over 27 different countries. She continues by saying “I am so pleased that this resource is being widely used and accepted. My goal is to keep it continually updated with new stories, new issues being covered, and translated into multiple languages to reach as many people as possible.”
