Inspired by John 3:16, ‘Super Love’ is a powerful love song unto God, written by LaToyah Bless, declaring His glory, His awesomeness, His wonders and His mighty nature, which is His Super Love.
LaToyah Bless says, “I wanted to write a worship song where all the focus is on Him, encouraging people to develop an intimate and deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father Lord Jesus Christ, romancing the heart of God”.
LaToyah Bless won Reggae Song of the Year at the spectacular 2022 Step FWD Awards and she showcases her versatility on ‘Super Love’. We hear more of her smooth vocals, but her signature dancehall flavour, that introduced her to the world, is still very much alive on the track, especially where she begins to powerfully chant “This One I Will Win!” “I was very much involved in every stage of the song production. The bass and the beat had to be heavy contrasting my vocals to bring the Caribbean flavour out, but also represent the power we have as the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, so we can conquer anything with God’s Super Love!”.
