With many previous hits on the Billboard’s gospel chart, American gospel recording artist Kierra Sheard has drawn on the skills of top hitmakers Rodney Jerkins (who gave Kierra her first #1 hit You Dont Know), Babyface and songwriter TC (Brandy, Tamar Braxton) to set the sounds of her sixth album.
You may also have seen her family’s hit reality TV show on BET ‘The Sheards’, a weekly docu-drama following the lives of the Sheard family as they navigate family, friends, and faith in a modern world. The show follows the lives of Kierra “KiKi” Sheard and her brother J. Drew Sheard. As the kids of Karen Clark Sheard, one of gospel’s most powerful women, and Bishop J. Drew Sheard, a mega-church pastor in Detroit, they face a responsibility unlike any other.
