Proverbs 18:21 says ‘The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.’ Just another Old Testament scripture right? Wrong!
Across the seas in Ohio, cardiologist Dr. Raja Nazir witnessed what he could only describe as a miracle. The sequence of events that led up to the miracle were not out of the ordinary for medics with a typical emergency call for a man facing heart problems. After several shocks however, a heartbeat was found and the man, Tony, was rushed to hospital.
Later at the hospital Dr. Nazir announced his heart had stopped again and after 45 minutes of trying he called the time of death. Whilst the family were outside praying for Tony, his son Lawrence came and entered the room shouting “Dad, you’re not going to die today!” And moments later through the power of his tongue, his Dads heart began beating again. He has since been reported to have been discharged and ready for work.
