Taken from the album “Break These Chains’ by iEC Band with Jake Isaac, the visionary and Team Leader of the i=Change initiative; a band & movement developed to inspire and empower young Christians to be about the business of change in their local communities and nation.
As well as recording his first debut album in 2005 entitled, For more of You, Jake and his team the i=Change Band recorded their first live self entitled album in 2009 and have seen it impact thousands of young people across the UK, Europe and beyond. He was nominated for a MOBO award in 2010.
Break These Chains is the second live project from i=Change Band. The powerful songs that have been birthed through the songwriting of Jake Isaac continue to impact and capture the hearts of Christians across the UK. Jake has composed songs with UK based African worship leader Muyiwa and Dove & Grammy Award winner Martin Smith along with Andrea Louise.
‘Break These Chains’ is out on 5th April. If you want to know what the album is all about then this is what the artist wrote, ‘The chains could represent sin, shame, heart-ache, pain, un-forgiveness and all of the things that stop us from connecting with God in worship in Spirit and truth and by breaking them release us into deep intimacy with God and the relationship He longs to have with us.’
