He is versatile artist who works with various genres of music such as Grime, Hip Hop, Rap , Afro Beats and R’n’B and is influenced by artists supporting him such as JayEss, Natty and Triple O and other inspirational artists from the U.K. Maf Dot You is also being mentored by the C.E.O of GL360 records , Roger Moore and had his first official mixtape ‘Who’s That?‘ released last year.
“…I just want to shine for you, like a star yeah…” is a simple yet riveting hook line and the song lyrics are deeply moving giving great insight into a life that is seeking more of Him amidst trials including the death of loved ones. After the 1st head bopping listen, (thanks to some nice production work) the song will grow on you throughout the 2nd and 3rd listen leaving you wanting more. Maf Dot You describes his music as “All about stories, some being meaningful and some fun. I never have a song that I can’t relate to in some way, shape or form.
