Excitement is building as its just days to go for the first Music Media Platform Awards Ceremony taking place on Saturday 21st August 2021 at 7.00pm BST, (PST 11.00AM, CT 1.00PM EST 2.00PM), featuring performances by some of the most renowned names in the Christian Gospel scene.
A sensational lineup of artists and exclusive for TMMP performances will reflect the breadth of genre styles. This includes world-renowned Sinach – most recent accolade BMI Christian Award Song Of the Year for Way Maker, Jonathan McReynolds – US Grammy Awardee and the UK’s number most awarded and recognised Praise & Worship leader Noel Robinson.
The Music Media Platforms Awards (TMMP Awards) is a new initiative aimed at encouraging and celebrating the diversity found in UK Christian and Gospel music specifically powered by the growth of media and music outlets on and offline throughout the scene. It aspires to bring the various outlets to the wider attention of the public. In this its inaugural year it is staged as an exclusive online experience emerging out of the pandemic.
The 26 categories include a Lifetime Achievement and a Community Hero award. These will be announced under the supervision of hosts Songwriter/Performer Eric Reverence and popular media Presenter Tolu Adepegba (also GMIA Chair/Director).
